If Kicking Spit’s recordings sound straight out of a New Brunswick basement, well, it’s because they are. Thrashy, feedback heavy, and high energy, the trio’s guitar-driven sound showcases their love for SST punk and ears for melodic songwriting. These guys are so tied to the New Brunswick music scene it would be impossible to list all the bands they’ve played in (Seasick, Big Eyes, Noun, Dystrophy, Soft Dov, Lost Weekend, Easy Rider, to name a few…). After releasing an EP and cassette single on Tankcrimes, we were lucky enough to have the chance to work with these dudes.
